We offer several levels of assistance, depending on what you are trying to accomplish and your budget to get it done. Whether you are being sued, suing someone, or just looking to see if it’s worth the effort, we can help you understand your Small Claims Court matter.

REMEMBER THAT IN ALL THINGS, YOUR PRIVACY IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN. We will never release your information to anyone without your express consent, whether you retain our office or not.

We are able to do the following things for you and you can stop our involvement at any time you choose:

  1. Hearing your story and providing some preliminary advice and information on your rights and responsibilities
  2. Reviewing documents to get a better picture of the situation and providing more detailed and direct advice
  3. Reviewing pertinent laws and cases to ensure you have a valid case and what the likely outcomes counl be.
  4. Preparing and sending a letter on firm letter head to the other party and putting them on notice of the situation, usually with a deadline that an action must take place, OR helping you to prepare the letter for yourself.
  5. Organizing documentation and selecting the best ones to prove your case
  6. Preparing Court documentation for starting and maintaining your Small Claims Court Matter OR reviewing documents you have prepared for completeness and applicability to the court
  7. Communicating with the other party or the other parties’ representative to try to find a quick resolution
  8. Attending the Settlement Conference to negotiate a settlement satisfactory to everyone involved
  9. Preparing for and attending Trial of your matter
  10. Receipt and payment to your of settlement and/or court ordered payments (often, payments must go through a legal trust account)
  11. Enforcement of Court Orders which may include Notices of Garnishment and Writ of Seizure and Sale, as may be required
