Contractor Disputes/Claims
If you have recently contracted a company to do some work for you, and you are unhappy with the results, let us know. We can review the information, let you know what your options are and the likelihood you can be successful.
If the contractor has damaged something that they should not have, you may have some ability to recover reasonable costs to repair or replace the item damaged. A good contractor would offer to correct the problem, but many will avoid having to pay. We can help you recover what was lost.
Perhaps the contractor has not completed the project or has not completed to your satisfaction. We can help you put them on notice to finish the job. We can also help to recover any expenses paid to fix it (usually paid to a 3rd party).
The contractor may have continually increased costs without a good reason or explanation, you may be entitled to recover some of the overages, if they are found to be excessive.

From bankrupt companies taking the money and running to legitimate businesses that just fell short of expectations, we can help. Motor Vehicle/OMVIC Claims
Have you purchases a used car lately? Did you find a great deal that just isn’t panning out?
As a motor vehicle customer, you have many options. One option is to pursue the OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council). This is a government agency designed to protect motor vehicle consumers from scams and fraud. Usually, this is the first step. There may even be an option to recover lost funds through the Motor Vehicle Dealer’s Compensation Fund.
If you don’t qualify, or the OMVIC found no investigative issue, that doesn’t mean you still aren’t out the money. Let us hear about it and we can help you understand your rights and if a claim in the Small Claim Court is the right path to take.
